  9. In this directory, you will find:
  10.  
  11. USA AOL Numbers.pdb               America Online access numbers for the 
  12.                                   United States
  13.  
  14. North-South America AOL.pdb       America Online access numbers for other
  15.                                   parts of North and South America
  16.  
  17.  
  18. In order to read the access number databases, you need to install the .pdb 
  19. file containing the numbers you want, as well as the AportisDoc reader 
  20. software in the "Readers" folder on this CD-ROM.
  21.  
  22. 1. Place the PalmPilot in its cradle, and make sure the cable is correctly 
  23.    connected to your Windows or Macintosh desktop computer.
  24.  
  25. 2. If you are using the PalmPilot desktop Version 3 software, simply 
  26.    double-click on the files you wish to install (with .pdb extension)
  27.    and skip to step 7.
  28.  
  29. 3. Otherwise, start the PalmPilot application install tool on your desktop 
  30.    computer: InstallApp on Macintosh, Instapp.exe on Windows.
  31.  
  32. 4. Use the Browse button to locate and select the appropriate .PDB files.
  33.  
  34. 5. Click on Install and confirm your selection. The file(s) will be copied 
  35.    to your PalmPilot next time you run HotSync.
  36.  
  37. 6. Make sure the HotSync Manager application is active on your desktop 
  38.    computer, and press the HotSync button on the unit's cradle to begin 
  39.    file transfer.
